Anyone craving some good fiddle & banjo playin’ tunes to tap your foot to? Aaron Watson and his band from Texas certainly know how to make their shows entertaining and bring a little extra something when it comes to their music and stage presence. From the personal stories he shared about his life on the road away from his wife and children, performing at the Grand Ole Opry, and why his Daddy is his hero… the crowd got a chance to get to know a little bit more about Aaron Watson and his dedication to performing for crowds across the U.S. for over 18 years.
At one point, Aaron took a moment to say he saw two girls in the crowd mouth, “Who is this?” And so he took a moment to introduce himself and let the audience know that even though they might not know him, he’s been at it for a very long time and has released 13 albums over the years, describing his experience in the industry as “slow and steady.”
Nonetheless though, Aaron has a certain kind of down home charm about him that crowds can’t help but love and asked everyone to call into Froggy and request his latest single, “Outta Style.” Froggy has been playing it for our listeners and we hope you learn to love him even more after getting to see him perform live for you at Country Summer. He has a way of engaging viewers and even brought Clare Dunn back out on stage to hold the bow while his fiddler showed off his skills.
