Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley was one of the one hundred guests at the intimate affair, which was organized by the same planner who did Carrie Underwood’s 2010 wedding.
After delivering vows they wrote themselves, Kelsea and Morgan’s ceremony wrapped with a twist: the bride and groom led the crowd in a tequila shot — a throwback to the pair’s first meeting in March of 2016 at an Australian awards show in Morgan’s homeland.
“He was like, ‘Let’s take a shot,’” Kelsea recalls. “I remember taking that shot and putting it down and looking at him like, ‘Oh…he’s superhot.’ Later that night he leaned over and asked if he could kiss me, like a proper gentleman, and I said yes.”
After a reception that included Mexican food and margaritas, Kelsea and Morgan took their party-goers for an impromptu dip in the pool.
