Wondrous Wildflower Walk at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park 2605 Adobe Canyon Road, Kenwood

Join Certified California Naturalist John Lynch on his wondrous wildflower walks. Departing from the Visitor Center, this route takes us on the Creekside and Hillside trails returning via Meadow.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for youth (12-17 year olds), students, Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf or RFO volunteers, and free for children under 12. Wear layers, appropriate footwear for muddy and/or slippery trails, bring at least a quart of water and if desired, a snack. Heavy rain cancels and will be announced early on the day of the hike. Parking fees apply.

Festival Napa Valley presents MusicTime in the Library at the American Canyon Library. Get inspired by the next generation with members of Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis, a noted youth Mariachi group from Tucson, Arizona. This performance is free and open to the public. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Mariachi Las Aguilitas de Davis is a performing Mariachi group made up of more than 50 students in first to fifth grades at Davis-Romero Bilingual Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona. Established in 1980 by the legendary Alfredo Valenzuela, the award-winning ensemble is now led by his son, Jaime Valenzuela.

Open Mic Night at Sweetwater Music Hall

Sign-up via email to openmic@swmh.com. You may sign up anytime between 6 pm the night before and 3 pm on the actual Tuesday. If you are in school and need to go early, please indicate that in your request. If you would like a certain time slot,  please indicate that as well, no guarantees.  You will receive a confirmation and the performance times by 5 p.m. that day.

Each performer will have 2 songs/10 minutes to perform. There will be a bass amp, a guitar amp, a set of drums, and a piano already set up for anyone to use.

Sweetwater Music Hall Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is fully devoted to advancing music education, understanding and appreciation in the Bay area, with an emphasis on local history, artists, and culture.
