Ep30: Jim Murphy | The Radio Legend

There are bosses…and then there are mentors.

Today’s Everyday People is incredibly special to me personally. I’m sitting down with Jim Murphy, the Operations Manager for Amaturo Sonoma Media Group and Program Director of Froggy 92.9 – who, after more than 53 years in radio, is officially retiring on February 2nd.

Jim took a chance on me back in 2019, trusted me with a morning show, and has been one of the most supportive, thoughtful, and steady leaders I’ve ever worked for.

Today, we’re celebrating his incredible career, his impact on radio, and the legacy he leaves behind here in Sonoma County.
