Meet Fred, a 8-month-old lab mix with the most soulful eyes. Fred is a free-spirit looking for someone to explore the world with. This soulful boy enjoys long walks in the park, staring into your eyes, and cuddling up close for some serious bonding time. He is very treat motivated so he will be great fun to train as he grows into the best version of himself. He does well on leash and can get along with other like-minded dogs. If you are looking for a boy who will be loyal until the end, Fred is your guy.

Each Wednesday with Mornings With Amber, Compassion Without Borders shares a rescue dog from their shelter “Muttopia” that is featured on-air as our Mutt of the Week. Compassion Without Borders is a non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa. Their programs include dog rescue operations in Mexico and the Central Valley of California, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. Their mission is to find the animals that are in the most urgent need of help, yet the least likely to be helped due to geographic, cultural and socioeconomic barriers. They do amazing work!
