Pepper’s Story
Who put the pepper in the pot? It’s the spice we all can’t seem to get enough of! Meet Pepper, a 3-year-old corgi mix with a spicy side. This handsome, speckled boy has a zest for life. He is a bonded pair with his pal Salt and the two make the perfect duo.
Pepper loves running around outside, exploring the world around him, and putting his sniffer to the test. He’s a total treat hound, walks well on leash, and gets along well with other like-minded dogs. His love is a slow simmer rather than a rapid boil, but once the dial’s turned up he’s in love for the long haul. This zesty boy and his sweet sister Salt will add a whole lot of flavor and love to your life!

Each Wednesday with Mornings With Amber, Compassion Without Borders shares a rescue dog from their shelter “Muttopia” that is featured on-air as our Mutt of the Week. Compassion Without Borders is a non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa. Their programs include dog rescue operations in Mexico and the Central Valley of California, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. Their mission is to find the animals that are in the most urgent need of help, yet the least likely to be helped due to geographic, cultural and socioeconomic barriers. They do amazing work!
