Ken Burns' “Country Music” documentary to premiere in September, following special concert next month at the Ryman

PBSKen Burns’ much-anticipated 16-hour documentary, Country Music, will premiere September 15 on PBS. To celebrate, a who’s-who of country artists will play a special show next month at the Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium.

Dierks Bentley, Rosanne Cash, Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill, Brenda Lee, Kathy Mattea, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Dwight Yoakam and more will take the historic stage for Country Music: Live at the Ryman, a Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns.

The Wednesday, March 27 event will be recorded to air later on PBS. Burns himself will host, with tickets going on sale next Friday.
