Blake Shelton brings fellow Country Music Freak Trace Adkins to “The Voice”

Trae Patton/NBC2018 is shaping up to be the year of Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins. Not only will Trace join Blake on tour this winter, he’ll also be the advisor for Team Blake on The Voice.

Trace himself is no stranger to reality TV on NBC, of course, having appeared on two seasons of Celebrity Apprentice with now-President Donald Trump. Trace appeared on the first round of the show in 2008, and returned to win the all-star season in 2013.

Blake and Trace will already have several concerts under their belt by the time this year’s battle rounds begin. The Country Music Freaks Tour with Brett Eldredge and Carly Pearce kicks off February 15 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; The Voice starts February 28 on NBC.
