MCA Nashville recording artist, Clare Dunn, kicks off Day 2 of Country Summer on the Chevy Silverado Stage with a rock & roll attitude, but country swagger. Colorado born farm girl has had dreams of performing on the big stage since she was a young girl driving tractors. Not only is she a strong singer, but her guitar skills are extra impressive considering she didn’t start playing guitar until she was in college and now plays the lead guitar on all of her material.

Clare took the stage playing her song, “Ferrari” and then followed that with “Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty. Next, she told the crowd she wanted to play a Bob Seger song after touring with him a couple of years ago. We could tell she’s spent a lot of time now touring with acts like Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban as well since she had similar stage presence to them with her guitar and dance moves. Her new song “Misery” certainly got the crowd moving and she pleased fans by bending down and taking the time to sign their cowboy hats.

What a great start to Country Summer Day 2!
