First off, you're absolutely, positively, stinkalutely right that I haven't blogged in a while.
But now I have the power to send you to a July 4th celebration in your neighborhood, so you don't have to travel far or spend lots of money.
That's right. I care. Damnit.
And I love this country. Sunday, July 4th will be America's 234th birthday.
When it comes to countries on the planet, that's pretty damn young.
And right now, we're going through some growing pains. There are certain individuals who would love nothing more than to pull our freedoms out from under us while we pay our taxes and work ourselves to death.
So I ask you, as you enjoy the freedom to state your opinion freely under fireworks and over delicious BBQ, remember what July 4th really stands for.

There are pros and cons to the fact that Craigslist is pretty much the site to head to when you're looking for a share rental in Sonoma County.
Since the first of May, I have discovered that rooms are overpriced, people are crazy, and if there's any possibility I can live next to the satellite equipment on the roof, it would be a better choice.
Since those dishes on the roof (that bring you Froggy programming like Lia, Blair Garner, and American Country Countdown, emit small doses of radiation, I could soon possess superpower.
Most likely I would end up glowing and burning everyone I come into contact with. I would become lonely and dejected and eventually turn into an evil super genius.
I would being my destruction be destroying every reality show on the E! Channel. My goodness those people are deplorable. I would also eliminate every French Fry ...

Tax Day is considered an evil day each and every year. It takes 99 days now just to pay your taxes. That means ever since April 9th, that money is yours.
This Thursday, many restaurants will be offering special deals to take your mind off how much you're being screwed by the government.
Jack in the Box is giving away small orders of their new-and-improved French fries on April 16th as part of their “Fry Day.” No purchase is necessary, but the giveaway is limited to one free order per customer.
Starbucks Get free brewed coffee all day Thursday if you bring your own mug
P.F. Chang's is offering a 15% discount on April 15th. The Tax Relief promotion applies to every order, with the exception of Happy Hour specials. The 15% discount does not apply to alcohol purchases, but does include non-alcoholic beverages.
