RESPECT, RESTORE, CELEBRATE!
Wild Steelhead in Sonoma County
February 5-7
Friday, February 5th, the 3rd Annual Healdsburg Wild Steelhead Festival will kick off with the Steelhead Gala Dinner held at Hotel Healdsburg, with dinner prepared by Charlie Palmers' Dry Creek Kitchen.
Saturday, February 6th, is the date for main event in the Plaza in Downtown Healdsburg, from 10am-4pm. This fun day under the tents has educational exhibits, a free trout pond for the young angler's to try their luck, a fly fishing demonstration pond with tips from the pros, fishing gear and boats, art for kids, cooking demos by John Ash and other local chefs,and a live steelhead display. There will be music from the Rose Town Ramblers, and wine tasting.
Sunday, February 7th, there will be fish- themed cooking classes at the acclaimed Relish Culinary Center in Healdsburg. Or book a fishing trip to those secret spots with experienced guides. Family activities will take place 10 -3pm at the Lake Sonoma Fish Hatchery.
