APRIL 2013

 This amazing mother of 4 (1 girl and 3 boys) won April's car giveaway! She is divorced and works hard just to make ends meet. She didn't have a car and had to seek the assistance of others to help her with taking her kids to school since there is no school bus service in her area. On top of that, she works every day and sometimes weekends and overtime to support her and her kids! She shares rent with two other women who have children so there is a total of 6 kids in the house and no one has a vehicle. Congrats!

 This father won April's car giveaway too! He is a student at SRJC and has been working hard to put his life back on track. In November 2012 he got full custody of his 15 year old daughter. In January he took her to get some eye glasses because she said it was hard to see. He was then sent to see a specialist in San Francisco after being told the Dr. believes she might have fluid on her spine. One week later while seeing the specialist they were sent to an emergency MRI the following day. After 2 MRI's he was told that his daughter needed emergency brain surgery because she had something on her brain that needed to be removed. On Valentine's Day he sat at the hospital while his 15 year old went in for brain surgery. The surgery went well but there is still a mass on her brain and her eye sight isn't getting better so they continue to make trips to San Francisco to see the specialist.
