Eric Church announced that his next single will be "Record Year" off of his Mr. Misunderstood album.
The song is about a break up where he doesn't immediately turn to another woman for comfort, he turns to his record player.
Lyrics include, "I usually make it through side A sober/All bets are off when I flip her over/ One bourbon, one scotch, one beer/ I'm havin' a record year."
