So, here’s a secret project I’ve been working on – AND thanks to Pete Stringfellow, I was able to get it done! It’s a video inviting Ellen Degeneres to Sonoma County!
Here’s what inspired it. Earlier last month Ellen had 10 year old Lilly from Santa Rosa who lost her house in the fires. It was an AMAZING segment. It took my breath away.
There was only one tiny thing, Ellen kinda sort accidentally said “Pretty much the whole town burned down.” If you watched a lot of the national news, you might have thought this! So, there’s no hard feelings. But I was inspired to invite Ellen up here to see how much of amazing Sonoma County still stands! I wrote her a little letter, and THEN started filming at cool places around Santa Rosa!
Pete Stringfellow was kind enough to take my footage and put it together – so that was awesome!
Wanna be a part of the big invitation? Invite Ellen to see YOUR favorite place in the North Bay! Take a pic or video or simply tell her about your favorite place and do @ellendegeneres on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. If she comes for a visit, awesome! If she doesn’t – that’s ok too! We’ll have some cool stuff on social media highlighting our beautiful home!
Thanks to the businesses and people in the video!
