Cam made her California background known right off the bat by playing a custom remix of a beach boys tune wearing a bright colored sumer dress to make her entrance on stage. Her band members dressed in bright colored shorts and sun glasses also fit the California ensemble.

It was easy to see how she grabbed everyone’s attention though with her easy going, fun personality on stage telling stories about her inspiration for each song she performed. One song she explained she wrote out of revenge, despite her sweet natured side. She said she may have been raised here in California to be nice to everyone, but she needs a release of her feelings sometimes, and this song of hers called “Runaway Train” provided her that. Another song that she played that isn’t on her current album Untamed, was a song she heard being played at the famous Blue Bird Cafe by songwriter Tom Kennel called, “No One Gets To Heaven if Anyone Gets Left Behind” which she loved and decided to learn how to play for us all. And that has to be one of the greatest reasons for seeing artists perform live. You just never know what will happen!
